Ok, so im sure this has been posted numerous times. Firstly thanks to the guys here at my gaming that have been full of advice, much appreciated.

So the idea started with an R8K pc, its now turned into 11K :wtf: anyway, what chassis would you chose? I have an Asus B85M-G motherboard and will be getting the PNY GTX 760 Graphics card. Herese the chassis I was thinking of Cooler Master RC-922M HAF 922 Mid Tower Chassis its going for R1399.00, would you recommend something different? I want to get a large /ish chassis in the same price range.

Oh one more question (its going to sound ultra noobish) is there a way to upgrade the front usb ports on the above mentioned chassis to USB 3.0?

Thanks:)

No replies...

The HAF series is very good, but can be quite loud because of all the airflow features.
Technically you can replace the USB 3.0 ports but it would take quite a lot of work.
What is your case's budget?

Ok I'm going to check their catalogue and return :D

"they offered me any case they have at cost price"
How did you get that right?

*Returned*
The HAF looks like the best case for that price unless you are looking for silence or something more specific...

I contacted them and asked them beat all the prices on my components (they did and it saved me R4000! :D) They didnt have the original chassis I was looking for, so they offered any chassis I want at cost price :D What I'm looking for, is a good looking chassis, with very good cable management. The current chassis I have has such poor cable management.

Before buying anything send me the final quote, I am sure I'll be able to beat it easily.

@Mr Joker, here are the prices I have so far :)

Processor: Core i5 4670 3.4ghz Sock 1150 =R2,740
Graphics Card: PNY GTX 760 =R3,338 (this is from another store as NGR doesnt have stock)
RAM: G.Skill F3-12800CL9D (2x4GB=8GB) =R1,093
PSU: Corsair CX750M = R1,402 (Needs to be modular)
Chassis: Cooler Master HAF 922 =R1399 (Open to suggestion here, need a case that looks good and has great cable management :)
Motherboard: Asus B85M-G =R1,225

I haven't selected any DVD drive or case fans as yet :)

Send us some pictures!

Sill need to determine the final parts :D But in time :D

Ok great! Well I have said numerous times that I don't know much about pc's but here is a picture of the case I want to get, if it is good or bad I have no idea, I just think it looks awesome!!0024838_%20_300.jpg

Shit I can't remember (but the box does say GMC in front of it so maybe that is some indication ;) ), but the other one I liked even more but just could not find where I saved it is this one, I feel this one is better anyway.

Here is the one I prefer: RAPTOR-823WB Black Raidmax Raptor Black. Last time I checked without PSU it was going for R695 at Pinnacle. Don't know if they still have it though, you'll have to check...

As far as I know, it comes in red and blue

I absolutely dig this case NZXT 820.jpg, it retails for R2,599 :( Maybe @ The Joker can pull some strings and get it cheaper?

That comes to R9902

You're getting a really sick pc for the money.
Seeing as you mentioned R11 000, Lets do this.

Corsair Carbide 200R
http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=9116

Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX, 500GB, SATA6G, 7200rpm
http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1274

Not the flashiest case around but its fairly good quality, it also enables you to get a much better Graphics card for the money.
Just over R11 000 and you have a damn nice machine there.

SeanJ see if NGR Computers can match this, if they can then you get the best of both worlds.
