Razer ships every new product at a loss

Difficult to understand how this is a sustainable business model. You need to make money to invest in equipment etc.

Those are the most bizarre comments I've ever read by a company CEO. Love the clarification by the marketing department afterwards, though.

Yeah, erm...not quite sure he really knows what he's saying. The re-released statement that not all product make a loss over their lifetimes was what he actually meant. How weird though...lol.

Razer ships every new product at a loss

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan says that profit isn’t the goal of their products.

I am not surprised xD
Razer product quality has become so poor lately...I used to love their stuff.

Eh at least there are companies like Steel Series and Roccat that make damn good stuff

Well I have 2 of their products that are both giving me shit and its new models, so it looks like they wont just be making a loss in the shipment but retrieving it too. It goes to the question of what are they actually striving for, clearly it isn't making money... cuz their business model sucks, and the quality of their gaming gear has dropped the ball, and the customer relations desk because I am still trying to get through to them.

Conclusion, I wont but Razer products again.

Do left handed people even worry about left handed mouses? I'm a lefty and I've always just used a regular mouse, right handed. Its not like writing or anything.

I've tried switching, but I've been using my left hand for so long, it's just not worth the effort of relearning everything.
I'm a bit of a mix though. Write lefty, but mouse in right hand. Play cricket lefty, but golf right. Basically everything thats easy to do left handed I do it that way, but anything that needs something special (ie: golf clubs, mouse etc) I do right handed.

I wish I could find a good mouse for my left paw. Something with lots of buttons preferably.

We just have to wait until Logitech or Steelseries does it right and at a good price. The Naga LH tries to hit the mark, but I personally didn't like the feel of it.

I do personally. Although I've become so used to doing things right-handed, I know that my left side is hardwired to perform better. It will just take a long time and many, many hours of re-setting key bindings to get this right.

Just like me, then. I learned to do things right-handed because it was more convenient and I lived in a small town where left-handed scissors was a rarity. All my teachers in pre-school and primary school were convinced that I had to do things their way. I broke any pens they gave me when I was being forced to write right-handed.

You mean the ones mentioned in the article and in this thread?

I am not sure mate I can't remember the name, I was on their site like a week ago to try find "contact us" to get to someone that would be able to resolve my issues to no avail and I remembered reading about it. Don't get me wrong, on its own my kb and mouse are awesome, but if they are both plugged into the pc at the same time I have issues of not being found etc. But before I had the kb the mouse is and was epic I love it.

PS come join me on sc if u want

WTF, are those teachers still living in the 1920's?!
