Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

As we mentioned recently, we will be performing a hot fix next week where we will be performing adjustments and addressing various things. While the specific details will be announced separately, I would like to give you an overview of what will be done ahead of time.
* The maintenance is scheduled to take place on Oct. 14, 2013 from 8:00 p.m. (PDT) / Oct. 15, 2013 from 3:00 (GMT). See the following for more details: NA / EU (Added on October 11th, 2013)
Changes will be made to the way equipment is bound.
Introducing additional servers and enhancements to act as a countermeasure against the congestion to enter "Amdapor Keep."
The difficulty for level 50 dungeons will be adjusted.
The number of areas where you can acquire Allagan Tomestones of Philosophy and Mythology will be increased as well as the amount you can acquire.
Implementation of a population cap for each field.
* The population cap is planned to be introduced separately. (Added on October 11th, 2013)
Adjustments to the spawn rate of monsters that drop diremite web and additional locations where Karakul can be found.
The amount of experience points that can be acquired on botanist and miner, as well the experience points that can be acquired from their fieldcraft leves, will be increased.
User interface elements related to materia and target information will be adjusted.

In addition to the above adjustments we will also be fixing a number of bugs.

Sounds promising...however...will they be adjusting Ak up or down?.... Happy to hear tombstones will be available at other places...now that we have farmed the crap outta the current places... :(

Did I also see they want to increase the cap you can acquire?...will what we already have be adjusted to compensate? Or will it just be "tuff sh1t" for those who already been farming...
 
Fought Garuda last night, such an epic fight! Had the most amazing tank explain the fight and we only wiped once when the rest of us didn't dodge her last AoE in time.

That was seriously the best Primal fight yet, so much going on, and that tank just made it amazing :D!

Dude you seriously need to get to 50, you are gonna love the HM Primals. :D

Did our first FC Titan HM practice last night and there's still some training to do. :)

Was moer funny to hear you guys doing that last night.
Seems like there is still much teethig to do w.r.t. serious raiding.

Personally I hit 21/22 last night. Almost have my Chocobo.
Did Ifrit for the first time and it was kak to heal as teh fire was not being dodged so well.

All in all I am enjoying the game a lot.
Nothing filled the void that WoW left but this is doing a damn stellar job. GW2 did not get close.
Can wait to hit 30 so I can go white mage.

Working on it, all I did was focus on my SCH this weekend and gained four levels, so not far now. I should be at level 46 before I log off tonight.

I can't wait for the harder dungeons and Primal fights, even the Binding Coil :D.

If you have a great few guys even the hardest fights becomes such a great time.

I sometimes wish there was an instanced server friends list of sorts :(
 
The Garuda runs became super easy, thx to all who helped (and persevered) in getting my drop.
Will have to make a plan to get some AK runs organised this week and actually complete tokens. I know Blackswan wants a few of these to get the gear that drops here. Maybe also organise some castrum runs for her DL set (and more Spirit Bonding).

Regarding Titan, the runs last night was fun. It is a fun dance to try and remember and spotting safe zones will take a few more tries, but soon we should be able to get this completed consistently as well, so thanks for arranging it and thanks to all the people who came to check it out :)
 
Hehehe except that we have lots of cats :P

But we have a great community with everyone willing to help out as much as possible. Still so many names there that I dont know :P
 
Right Im gonna farm the crap outta AK this week soonest so I can get my chest piece...Im also hoping that maybe after the maintenance they will reset the AK tokens counts..so I can get more :D

So who is up for some hard AK farming tonight?
