So this game is re-releasing this month and I figured it's time to get a thread going for this game.

Now I know a lot of people are put off by the monthly sub, but this thread is for those who don't mind it.

I just want to get a list of everyone that is going to play, which server you are planning to roll on and what your plans are regarding guilds.

Perhaps we can also discuss what class you plan to start with and so on.

I'm planning on Thuamaturge as my main and then specializing in the Black Mage. :)

We were on Moogle...few of us played in the closed Beta...was really awsome! Looking foward to this game. I also intend to go black mage as thats the toon I played in beta....very squishy tho. Be warned (unless you played beta and already know ) :D I already know that Blackswan and a few others wanna play as well, im pretty sure I will play as well...until Wildstar that is... :D

Im a massive Final Fantasy Fan, and dont mind subs

Heh yeah I played Conjurer during the phase 3 so I think I can do squishy. :p

I'm still mulling over maybe playing a lancer so I can eventually do Dragoon. Just not sure if I want to do melee or physical. I think I might try Lancer and Thaumaturge up to level 10 during phase 4 and decide then.

If we are gonna be too many squishies then I'll happily roll that Lancer or even a Gladiator if we need a tank. Just not doing healer again lol.
 
LOL...I normally roll tank first, then dps, depending on whats needed in Guild! Always seems to be tank first tho....was same on Neverwinter.... have played healer few times as well, but not my favourite. Last healer I actually enjoyed playing was Runepriest on Warhammer online :D

Didn't get to try Tank tho on Beta as Unsane played tanky class and Blackswan was healer.

I always found myself playing healer in traditional MMO's, this time I just want to DPS - less stress. :D

BTW have you guys decided which server you are going to roll on? I have a friend playing on PS3 and I'd like to give him heads-up as to what server to roll on.

HUGE Final Fantasy fan and absolutely in love with ARR, pre-ordered and paid for my CE already :D.

Thanks for the heads up on the server, I rolled an Archer/Bard on Odin during phase 3 and loved it.

If you guys are forming a MyG/local guild I hope I might be allowed to join :o?

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go Bard at release but I want to try out the Summoner before I decide. I'll definitely be one of those two though :).

I've also got the CE on pre-order. :D I'm so indecisive about which class to main at this point. Dragoon looks like so much fun to play, but so does Black Mage. I'm going have to try LNCR and TMTG during the first few hours of phase 4 and see which class gameplay I like the best.

You don't miss out on too much by getting the normal. I just figured I haven't had a decent FF game in a long time so I'll splurge a little. :D

I tried both but they didn't gel with me. If I go melee I'll a thief/skirmisher/rogue of some kind, light on his feet with lots of dodge moves. The ARC was just such a breeze to use and I found myself saving my party a lot of the time, I used Cure and Raise from my CJR on my ARC.

In fantasy games though I typically always go mage, I just love mages but TMTG didn't do it for me so I'm hoping the Summoner will play really well, if not then I'm happy with my ARC.
Only thing that worries me about my ARC is that if I role male then the final/ultimate armour is very feminine and just doesn't suit a male, so I hope we have a slightly more masculine variant, If not then I'll just play as a female ARC :).
