Hi, was noticing issues connecting this morning, and got this off their website:

KZN Connectivity [Posted: 2013-10-15 08:07:20]
Please be advised that clients in the Kwa-Zulu Natal area are experiencing connectivity issues. Our upstream providers are currently investigating.

Hopefully this will be resolved quickly. My pc shows internet connectivity, however can browse etc. I can still remote into pc at home tho o.0 ...go figure

There was problems with SAIX and even MTN so was a major fault somewhere but seems SAIX is working now but MTN is still a bit faulty on my Afrihost Mifi.

Yeah Axxess recently moved all their gear over to MTN datacentre according to one of their messages...so would explain it. Im even battling to log into their website..take a few tries to get in...

The problem is not just for KZN, i was just on the phone with them and the whole northern part of the country is having issues as well.

We have been having connectivity issues since last week. Still no ETA on when it might be fixed.

Oh....been lucky then. I had no issues til this morning. Their website notice just spoke about KZN area..

They have any idea whats wrong as yet? Need to update my FFXIV:ARR today ;)

The problem with DSL in kZN was the authentication on Telkom's side, that's why your router would get connection but you would get timeout on any page. So unless you where with a service provider that used a mobile backbone you could not get any connectivity.

It should all be sorted now though.

Mobile also had the problem so they weren't exempt from it.
