Free games on xbox live (For Gold)

I don't mean to be funny, but aren't these games really old? I've had them for years. It is good that they are giving away some free games and all, but I do expect something better to entice people to get Gold memberships.

They're old, but I must say, I would never have paid money for them so getting them and trying Magic2013 out is nice, still I do think they could put up games that are 2 years old instead of 4-5-6 years old...

You can try but I seriously doubt that free gold weekend (or trial memberships) will entitle you to the Games with Gold. I think it'll only work for people who actually paid MS some money

Not very likely, sorry. Guys using trial gold accounts weren't able to get the free games, I doubt very much that they'll just hand them out to everyone without getting some kind of subs or something back.

Nope, not exclusively, halo3 will be, crackdown was, dead rising 2 was, fable3 was, but assassins creed was multiplatform, so not all are, but some are

No probs. Went on this morning to get it to download while I'm at work.
One of the first games on the promo I'm looking forward to because I'm one of few who actually hasn't played it yet. This is so far also the only full release on the promo I don't already own.
 
Wow, I'll finally own a Halo game. Now my friends can stop complaining when I go over with my xbox...
 
Not to be the odd one out and I am not slating Xbox or Gold subscriptions at all, but PS+ is a much better value proposition for me. The games I get are absolutely mind blowing. October was Far Cry 3 and in November I'll be getting Metal Gear Rising, Remember Me for free. Games I've wanted to play for a while but never got round to play.

I feel that Microsoft must up the offering for their Gold subscribers because they deserve great games for the years of loyalty.
