To introduce myself: Hello, I have 30+ years experience in the IT Industry starting way back in 1982 with the first electronic typewriters from Olivetti. Then years of being a copy-typist taught me many different machines with many different operating systems and many different keyboards. I achieved 65 words a minute copy-typing. Then I succeeded in getting a PC Support position at the now defunct National Institute for Personnel Research, subsequently taken over and destroyed by the Human Sciences Research Council where it was my responsibility to get the organisation onto the Internet. We had internet access long before it was commercially available. I spent years as Network Administrator and then became Data Technologist in Systems Development. For the past 12 years I have been "retired" and digitise analogue audio and video to CD or DVD. I live in Windsor West with my wife and two cats, and many plants.
