Batman: Arkham Origins pre-order price roundup
Where’s the cheapest spot to get the Dark Knight’s latest prequel adventure?

Digital distribution, James?
Both Steam and GreenManGaming has it at US$50, but GMG has millions of 25% off codes out there, which applies to Batman. That makes it US$37.50, or ZAR375, cheaper than any of the retailers you listed, and not subject to delay.
These price round ups are from SA retailers, using GMG would be like comparing apples to oranges.
Edit: Also its not really fair to include discount codes, that's not the real selling price
Why is it not fair? Or apples v. oranges?
I got the game for substantially less than any of the prices mentioned, with literally no disadvantage to it. Unless the retailers are paying to have their products advertised, I don't see why they should not be compared to digital distribution.

You are assuming uncapped internet access as well?
You are assuming uncapped internet access as well?
Also ignoring:
*Rand Dollar price differences
*Availability of a credit card (not a student friendly idea)
*Uncapped internet (as above)
*Taxes (I'm assuming you are going to submit your importation VAT as per the VAT administration act to avoid tax evasion)
*Console alternatives
I'm sure I could go on but like I said CD vs digital codes, apples and oranges, you can't directly compare them
Sorry but to me it's very relevant to the final decision, if we don't then immediately foreign accounts have a 14% advantage over our guys. Now America also has a consumption tax but some states don't charge tax for digital goods, and any sale to an SA citizen is an immediate export so that should be tax at 0%.Well at least you are consistently trying to keep us honest with our taxes![]()

Well lets take his price of R375 and because we don't want to join Malema in SARS' bad books we pay vat. So we have 375 x 114%= R427.5, isn't takealot cheaper. Like is said compare apples with apples and oranges with oranges.
I'm just chirping youYou are 100% correct. This is a problem that revenue authorities around the world are trying to solve as the digital world is hard to police.
I have zero interest in this game although I pre-ordered the first two and loved it.
I don't know if it is that I am still enjoying GTA so much or the prospect of new consoles coming out.
