Netflix & Hulu+ On Xbox/PS in South Africa

Hulu+ .... i want to register an account and pay the subs ... but

they keep on telling me my address is wrong, which is obvious because i dont select a state and i also dont give a zip code

how do i go about to get my Hulu+ account ??

BTW, I've found Telkom SA is a crap ISP for Netflix. You need to restart Netflix on the Xbox if you want to watch a 2nd episode cause the thing comes through blank and you only hear audio

Sooooo who wants to help me get NetFlix working on my PS3?
I have a EU and a USA account, so I can download it via the USA account but then when I try play it it picks up I'm from SA....

Any suggestions?

Not sure I'd be sticking to hulu+, rather sub to netflix and download latest without adds.
 
Anyone else having issues with the latest Netflix PS3 update? If I update I can't watch anything, I can select a title to watch but says something like "This title is not available right now, try again later". I deleted NF and re installed it which returned it to the previous version, and it works fine, I just have to cancel the update.
 
Anyone download and use the SKY app on Xbox? I used to use it as I can use my sisters login details, but something went wrong and now I can't even redownload the app? I think I might need to get a VPN so they definitely think I'm in the UK, the DNS doesn't seem like its enough.

Yes the new updated sky app requires a VPN to download, after that you won't need the VPN to run the app.
Get a months sub from Unotelly.com. I tried all sorts of free VPNs but didnt work, so I recommend unotelly

Edit: while you have the VPN get some other apps as well that you can't normally download using DNS. Twitch TV I think needs it?

Ah damn it, I thought it was something like that.
I got the 3 day VPN trial from Unotelly but couldn't set up internet sharing on my laptop (so VPN over wireless, then share that on the ethernet connection). Not sure what the hell the problem was there but it was damn annoying.

I had to do it that way as well. Took me ages to figure it out.
 
This weekend I realised just how crap the Xbox is for Netflix and Hulu etc. My brother in law has Apple TV, and it streams virtually HD netflix and Hulu from the get go. Its ridiculous!!!! I have to get myself one.

He's on a 4mb premium mweb uncapped account, which apparently syncs at 3.5mb at times even. My line is syncing at 6mb and running off mweb 4mb premium uncapped, and it still sucks...on my xbox.
 
My friend also has an Apple TV and it looks schweeeeet! Streaming Netflix and everything including YouTube and other rental services. I'm also considering getting one.

Do it man, do it. I tried on PC and it didn't work as well as the Apple TV. I've read its got something to do with Silverlight not being good enough, or not having any hardware control.
 
So I finally managed to set this up on my PS3, though I do have one question;

Any of these services that might have or display European Soccer? (or any sports)
(i.e. Barclay Premier League, Eufa, etc.)

there are a few sites that stream via pc but the resolution quality isnt that good

I'm thinking of hooking friends up with an Apple TV to watch Netflix in their room. It's that or import a Roku
