Ok so give me an example I have tried torchlight and didnt really enjoy that

Well for one, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare if you into sword play.

On that note: Pity I am gonna miss the weekend special as I am only getting paid on the 25th

Depends on your game pref. FPS, RTS, Puzzle, Arcade or RPG ?

FPS: I enjoyed Hydrophobia (Pity it was so short)
RTS: Still love Men of war & Theatre of war <--- there is not a single AAA that can touch thease 2.
RPG: Van helsing is actually a great game that is overlooked by many
Puzzle: Love the Trine series
Arcade: Mark of the ninja is my fav

And I know some of above mentioned does not fall in my view as Indie but are marked and sold as such.

geeeez dude, that's tough. well what genres do you enjoy most? doesn't help I suggest Deponia when you hate point-and-click adventure games like I hate RTS

For me the only thing that will allow me to overlook the graphics is if it has a grippinng story like final fantasy

that's most indie games...... maybe start with Psychonauts

btw, your precious Dota isn't exactly on the A-Grade list when it comes to graphics

Erm original Dota started as Indie(Mod to a AAA game), and not much has changed in the FX/gamplay since its initial days.

Just was wondering what the forum nick was if not the same. Hate it when Steam doesn't reflect names, like me for example it shows me in Steam gifts as a nick I haven't used in years.
