Tiger Woods and EA cut ties

Man, I'm stocked for PS4 PGA Tour. I remember getting an Xbox 360 launch day, and getting Tiger Woods '06, as well as a few other launch titles. My friend who won a free launch day 360 would make fun of me. "A $500 gaming system for golf... Pfft!".

He came over and played with us one weekend, and then went out and bought the game the next day.

I'm not all that bothered about the lack of Tiger Woods though.
 
The next gen screens look great. Sports titles on the next gen looks like it will finally be worth playing. I cannot wait!
 
I love the Tiger Woods franchise... but if you played one, you have played them all! The newer ones look better, but the putting gets stupidly difficult :)

I really miss the celebrations and negative reactions you could put on your character in '06. Just something about sticking your arms out and running around like you're a plane when you sink a put, or snapping the putter over your knee when you miss.

The last one that had those animations in was Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. After that the golfers didn't even have voices anymore.
 
I'm a huge golfing fan i play myself but i won't miss tiger on this at all i just hope they put some of the top ranking south african players on there this time charl schwartzel would be nice to play as well as the Big easy :)

It wouldn't bother me if none of the big names made it, to be honest. My friends and I all make our own characters and level them up as we go. Much more satisfying gameplay in my opinion, but I do get that some just like to take their favorite golfer and kick butt out of the box.
