Home StreetPass Relay for 3DS

I just set up a StreetPass Relay for myself for Nintendo 3DS.

I followed this guide:

http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-have-a-homemade-streetpass-relay.352645/#Windows7

There are other guides there for other operating systems etc, I'm using Windows 8.

It works really well, and I have also downloaded this: http://gbatemp.net/threads/macycle-the-improved-mac-changer-for-homepass.353328/
It automatically changes the MAC address for StreetPass as set intervals, so you can leave your 3DS to StreetPass all day and not worry about changing any settings.

Here is a list of MAC's if you want to do it manually; the program MACycle has a built in list.

I hope you can manage to set it up, if you need any help I'm more than willing to assist, just let me know where you are stuck.

But what does it do?

Well it basically makes the 3DS connect to your home 'NintendoZone' hotspot thing. It makes a wifi access point that the 3DS thinks is a Nintendo one.
They have these in other countries, and when you connect to one it streetpasses with a whole bunch of people.

In South Africa there aren't any of these zones. There also aren't really people wandering around everywhere with 3DS's. We aren't exactly a large Nintendo-mad country.

If you want to know what streetpass is then read here: http://nintendo.wikia.com/wiki/StreetPass

OOOOOOH I know what Streetpass is, I didn't know what the relay was for.

Does it say that when you press 'start virtual router'?

Do you have your wifi card setup using macshift?

Yep, prompts up when I press start.. and then my wired connection goes from LAN to "none"
Nope! Overlooked that lol... I'll have another shot at it and update

:Edit:

Seems like I have to place macshift in my system32 folder..
Not happening. lol.
I have win7 starter on my lappie.
