I played some Batman: Arkham Asylum last night. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. Very good game.

Been playing Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time, both for the first time. Wow, can't believe I missed this all my life 
Never owned an Nintendo console when I was growing up, also subsequently never played a first party Nintendo game. Also got the Gamecube ready once I'm done with those. Honestly, they don't look that bad. Ocarina of Time definitely looks worse than Mario 64 though. I am tempted to just skip ahead and start the Gamecube versions...I must resist 
Am I the only one that prefers these 'retro' (that aren't that old) games? Definitely not as easy as modern games. I have been made weak with all these easy games.
Also got GoldenEye 007, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros and Donkey Kong to play. All I'm going to say is that GoldenEye has the most awkward control scheme of a shooter that I've ever played. Only one analogue stick, it's so weird

The Arkham games are awesome, even for someone who's not a big fan of Batman.
Currently busy with Arkham City, playing New Game Plus and doing the Riddler's Revenge challenges.
I've also been playing a lot of Pinball FX2, trying to beat my friend's (only have FriedPet at the moment) high-scores.

Batman Arkham Origins
First the bad.
Who knows wtf they were thinking with the Deathstroke fight. It was extremely annoying and glitchy.
Then the combat seems... I don't know. It is either somewhat harder that Batman AA or the enemies suddenly have a lot more reach or my actions are ignored or something, but I'm getting my ass kicked somewhat more often. Even in a simple Batman vs 4 baddie fight, I get smacked around a couple of times whereas in AA, it would have been a flawless victory.
However, the game is still great though. I kinda like this origin story for Batman so I'm having fun nonetheless. Regardless of many of the reviews, I think this is still a great game.
