2 free hd screens? Keep or give back?

A few months ago we bought a tv using ebucks...
They did not have stock of the one we wanted so they gave us an upgrade for a lot less.
The tv arrives, and its the wrong one, its a 32" and we ordered a 40".
So a guy comes a few days later with the right sized tv, but he has no idea about fetching the wrong one, so he says keep it until they send someone to fetch it.
Next week a second 40" arrives and this guy also has no idea about fetching the 32".

Its been about two months... We are considering just cracking open the 32" and the second 40" to use as extra screens around the house.

Do you think this is a good idea? I mean we did email them last month saying that if they were not collected we would just start using them (and we know you cant just sell that second hand samsung to other customers...), they replied saying they would come and get the 2 screens.

A month. Nothing

What do we do?
We cant take them back because we dont know where they are from, they have not fetched them and they are taking up unnecessary space behind the couch. :D
 
Wow christmas has come early for you. perhaps send them another e-mail but copy in head office, giving them 7 days, failing which you will open them.
BUT saying that, you probably shouldnt have signed for the 2nd 40" though, you should have said it was a mistake and insisted the guy keep it or take it back
 
I'd keep trying to find a way to return the 32".

Just now someone pitches up at your house and insists you pay for what would then be a used TV!
 
Yeah I wouldn't use it.

I would however, get irritated with them and tell them that I'm irritated that I have to work to fix their mistake.

where did you order it from?

No idea... My dad ordered it... I will ask him when he is back from work :)

If it's online it could have been Takealot, I know they now accept ebucks as payment.
 
I would send them an email asking them to collect them within 5 working days. Failure to collect them will result in the screens being reclaimed to cover storage costs. If they don't collect In a week then send them an invoice and receipt of payment.
 
You can keep the ones you didn't sign for.

If they do show up then they would have no proof that they sold you the ones you didn't sign for and would have no ground to stand on.

It's a petty trick but if they are so disorganized then they probably have money to waste,chances are their drivers never gave them the signed invoices so they don't have it on their system that you received your purchase.

Chances are you might even get another TV landing on your doorstep.

Somehow i dont think keeping them is legal :D

But i mean we have been waiting for months...
Parents said we would give them another few weeks.

Anyone else encountered a similar problem? (doubt it)
