Fallout 4 announcement in five days?

*runs out to buy Fallout New Vegas

Fallout 3 ruled so hard, still does, the point lookout dlc was pretty bad though.
 
I really, really hope Obsidian is involved with this somehow. Even if they just write the story, Bethesda are good at making open world games but they are terrible (mostly) with story IMO.

I can't play it at night I get so scared going into the vaults!
 
Is it just me or was new vegas a bit of a let down.

I played about 4hours and got extremely bored.

Didnt remember fallout being so difficult

I have had quite the opposite experience.

I felt like I had to force myself to finish Fallout 3, and just couldn't make myself play a lot of the DLC, whereas I played and finished New Vegas several times.

Just found the story that much more interesting.

I have to agree with you there. I only played fallout 3 once and I have about 500 or more hours to my new vegas time.

Maybe i should give it a second try. Was the story pretty impressive? as thats what i mainly look for in a game

Try playing the DLC's,they are hella fun.(you have to put points into guns/energyweapons/melee/etc to make them do more damage.

Start in this order :
Once you get to Vegas :Honest hearts
Once you hit lvl15 :Old world blues
A bit after:Dead Money
After that is Lonesome road which is more combat focused compared to the other DLC's.

Old world blues has to be my fav dlc. It got a lot of flak but I really really loved it.

I found it to be a fairly impressive story, yeah. And not just the main story, I rarely found myself bored doing the sidequests.

And, as mentioned, the DLC are great. Didn't really like Lonesome Road very much though, too much shooty, too little story and dialogue.

Also didn't like the lonesome road. Far to much action crammed in a little area. Found the floating robot to be annoying.
 
I gave the Android's identity to Zimmer, why? Its a robot, how is it slavery? The new game will probably make siding with The Institute the Bad Karma choice, and that sucks.
 
This thread just reminded me that I still have to finish Old World Blues, but I am stuck on a highway with 3 Deathclaws right in front of me and the only way I can see of getting past them is cheating, and I'm not doing that so stuck there I will remain...

Jeez I cleared a whole nest of death claws with a shotgun and mercy(auto grenade launcher)
