I loved PoP 2008. It was really good! Those cell shaded graphics still look amazing. Actually, most if not all cell shaded games still look amazing.

I seem to have this weird "curse" with the game, I'm never able to finish it. Originally I owned it on disk, but I lent that to a friend and he never gave it back...then he moved and I haven't seen him since. (what an arse :p). A couple of weeks ago I bought it on GMG because it was on sale. thinking it would be a Steam or Uplay key , but it required the use of their capsule client (which is absolutely rubbish) and won't download the game. As a final resort I contacted Ubisoft and asked if I could get a copy of the game on UPlay, but they couldn't help me with that.

I see that it's on sale on Steam. Needs to go to 75% off before I buy it again, I've spent enough money on this game :D

I also loved the 2008 reboot of PoP. Fortunately I've been able to finish it twice - the sucky thing is that the games ends on a partially unresolved note and the DLC that continues the story only came out on the consoles.

Regarding Capsule - I had to disable my antivirus's Web Protection in order to be able to download using Capsule. Are you possibly using Avira? I've got the physical DVD if you'd like to borrow it - if your "under the rock" dwelling is anywhere near Randburg.

I heard about that issue with the DLC. Then again it's to be expected, Ubisoft doesn't exactly have a great track record with PC. I'm actually using ESET, but I'll give that a try. Thanks :)

The rock I live under is closer to the coast :p

Sigh I'm disappointed to hear about the end, the DLC etc. (since I'm playing it on PC) but I'm really glad that there are other people that appreciate the game.

I played a couple of rounds of Battlefield 4 on a noob friendly server, enjoyed it quite a bit. Game is absolutely gorgeous and it runs like a dream on my PC. I'm very happy.
