Looks like the PS4's have landed in South Africa.

Takealot is showing PS4's as 'In Stock' (at least on the killzone/camera bundle).

My order is showing as "ready to ship"

:D

The 20 December date is for the 2nd batch of pre-orders. Pre-orders from the 1st batch will (probably) be delivered this week so should be at the distributor at least.

When I check the site it says "Pre-order: Shipped 20 Dec, 2013" for the Killzone bundle.

They've actually removed the killzone/camera bundle page completely now. I'll bet someone saw the in stock status and ordered it...

lol

Sadly life has come upon me and taken away my PS4 savings fund! :( Guess I will have to pick it up in 2015. I was so eager CNA has 5 extra in the center where I work, would have been no. 1 in line at opening.

***EDIT

Retail cost of games are going to start off at R799.95.

Well the reviews ive seen its pretty shitty so im gonna skip Killzone 4. Getting the Fifa 14 bundle and probably Lego Marvel.

YOU actually USE reviews to help you with game purchases..............

I read reviews with a pinch of salt as some guys are way too critical for reviews also you miss out of the hidden gems if you followed them

Sometimes you have to be brave and buy a game on gutt feel

At R800 a pop i dont just buy anymore. Some reviewers do make fair and unbiased assessments of games. Ive yet to see any respectable reviewer convince me to give the new Killzone a try.

Case and point Call of Duty Ghosts. Horse shit game on PC, actually an awesome game on Consoles. I pre ordered ghosts on PC and ive played 30 mins. Waste of money and time.

Reviews are over rated :D but sometimes they do help(Sometimes) Glordit i'm with you on PS4 later purchase my one son says he wants a new bicycle and my oldest wants Disney infinity, because all the kids at school are getting them. Damn i hate school.

Retail and online are two different selling points.

I spent 2 hours on Oo Calc, and still could not find a way to make it work (albeit I did but, do I really want to suffer for 6 months?) Either using my bonus, paying half with my investment, paying it all at once and getting nothing else for Xmas (seemed like an OK-ish idea but nah) I still would come up short with paying my student fee's in March and June.

I do sometimes. I don't look at the review score but what they are saying, you can generally pic up things that you know in the past have irritated you or liked in games. Weird that you are surprised, if no one read them they would exist still.

Im actually quite the opposite, The first thing i look at in a review is the score... If i look at 3 or 4 reviews and the scores are all decent then i will spend time reading the reviews... Otherwise unless its an old favorite of mine, like final fantasy, i wont waste time readi

The last time I followed my gut, I bought Dead to Rights for my PSP. I would have enjoyed burning my money more...

I like to think the the folks writing the reviews have enough credibility to lead people in making worthy purchases.

As far as being critical goes, why not expect perfection? Imagine how slack game devs would get if there were no difficult critics to try and win over.

I'm not interested in Kill zone4 the game I desperaly want no need is Watchdogs it has become a nessesity in my life! I must get it!
