I find with a lot of long animes I tend to loose interest at a certain point then come back to finish them a couple of weeks later.

i have that with Bleach and FairyTale. I just got to much of the same thing over and over. But watching it in small amounts works for me.
If the story is fail i tend to leave it for a while. But my anime watched list is still small ><

I started on Hitman reborn, got to episode 40~ and stopped, that was over 3 years ago. I still have every episode, I just dont feel in the "mood" to watch it.

I feel you mate ... mine's tiny :p

I just automatically avoid longer series these days. I might get back to Bleach one day, but I honestly doubt it, and I will never watch Naruto again. I'd be inclined to give One Piece a look, but the 600+ episode count puts me off. And since I generally keep up to about 20 series each season, I don't really have the space to pick up huge series either.

I'm busy previewing all the series starting in January now - it might be a quietish season, but there are a few from this season that are carrying on: Nagi no Asukara, Golden Time and Kill la Kill are the three I can think of immediately.

In all honesty, there are better shonen shows than Bleach, reading the manga is more satisfying as there are no fillers killing the experience (half the reason they stopped production of the anime). I watched it as I started watching shortly after it was launched in Japan (If I recall it was from episode 40~).

I don't actually know. Just can't get into it. Not really in a mood for it I suppose.

Could well be, I won't state what every other anime fanboy would state about Michiko Yokote being a complete genius and what not. It is a good show, with many subtle hints and references made to music, while the plot is not the best around it was still a good anime.

I felt like deviating from my normal theme of choice (fantasy) and have just started watching Kuroko no Basket, which has been très amusant thus far.

My first experience with Cowboy Bebop was also an odd one ... watched two episodes and then dropped it - then a few months later went back and finished watching in less than a week. I can't say what changed my mind though.

Finished watching FMA Brotherhood....loved it...the build up in the anime was totally worth it when shit finally got real!!

Gonna resume Code Geass now...

Code Geass was so amazing, it is and will for ever remain one of my all time favourites. Ichirō Ōkouchi is a literal genius when it comes to characters, plot twists and dialogue. Many people can write good characters and have a good story but what they had going in Code Geass was pure amazement to me.
