Largest collection of video games in the world

“I probably get three hours of playing in a week,” he said. “If I’m lucky.”

With all those games, he's never going to play them all. So this more about collecting as opposed to playing. To each his own I guess.

But that could be said about people who just buy games when they have steam sales.

If he hardly gets time to play any games is it really worth it to collect games? I would imagine a collection like this is better for a full time gamer or something.

***EDIT
Can't seem to find the pic where someone had 700+ Games, about 200 were from the current sale.

You don't have to use things to be a collector. How often do you think a stamp collector uses stamps from his collection for sending mail? :p

I would imagine most stamps are 2nd hand/ used. However I get your point but I still feel like its a sad collection when you don't get to fully appreciate the game. At least with stamps you can look at them and take in the full beauty of the stamp, but a game cover?
