Razer's Project Christine is looking crazy awesome

I think it's awesome but can you use any components or will they have to be custom made more expensive ones?
 
As an idea, it's nothing new. BMW designed something very similar years ago and, it was a working product that you could buy! In fact, I think they still sell it today even here in SA. Even though it's quite expensive.

Also, I wouldn't buy anything that critical to my system that's made by Razer. Seriously. Their products have a "wow" factor, but they're not durable at all.

I doubt it, those expansion modules are filled with mineral oil so I doubt your home user could do it. For one you would have remove the fans from the GPU and wire those controls to a pump, then adapt the PCI connection to their connection. Then after that you would have to water seal it the module and pump mineral oil in and remove the air (making sure the oils match). Your taking a 10 minute upgrade into a full day job.

Soz neo only bad thing i've had from razer was my very first Kb from them but have had 2 others after that and no issue and i'm on my 6th Razer mouse (not cos they broke) but i like change sometimes and i'm waiting for my 7th (the BF4 Taipan edition)

I love razer tbh, my BF3 Imperator is awesome :)

I've had a Razer Mechanical keybaord for years, no issues.
 
Well, I have a razer Mamba (at one stage the most expensive mouse in the world) and it's falling to pieces. The grips are coming off, the battery clip became brittle and broke off etc. I've read tons of online reviews on their keyboards saying that it breaks very quickly. Razer themselves had to recall an entire product line in the past due to manufacturing problems. So yeah, Razer != reliability. If your Razer products are holding out well, enjoy it, while it lasts.

i am with you on this. I like razer products but they do not last.
 
How many of these razor concepts actually make it to market though. Not many. This is basically like those concept cars that never get built.

Well, to be fair, in order to get a product to market, it has to stay "stuck together" long enough to do so.
