Gamer Confessions..

Thought Skyrim was one of the blandest games I have every played. The combat is very out of date. I hate what they've done to the series. Don't even get me started on the bugs.

Glad to see someone shares my opinion. Although the combat becomes a lot of fun with the Requiem mod, but it doesn't make up for the bland world and quests.

- To echo Grievous, I find Skyrim unbelievably boring and combat is a laugh (especially after playing something like Kingdoms of Amalur)
- Diablo III is the only game I have finished more than once
- I think Steam is slow, clunky and frustrating.
- Wlad is the last person I would expect to experience gamer rage :p

Wow, seems like you guys have some serious anger issues.. I very rarely swear when gaming, I do get a little pissed when players intentionally ruin online games though. Otherwise I just tend to either get a serious headache put the game down and never touch it again lol.
Anyone else get headaches? Must be that my brain CPU is working too hard and cant compute :p

Used to get that a lot, then bought myself 1.5x reading glasses and never had it again. Getting old sucks ;-P
You don't have to be old to get headaches from eyestrain though, its just more likely.

Amen, I really dislike Steam, but what can you do?

I love steam simply because it lets me buy games I cannot afford two years or so after they were released. I have ALWAYS wanted to play Borderlands 2, never could afford it. Last weekend I picked it up for R71. Now if I can only get ME3 and SC2 on steam I would be happier.

Preachy games put me off... and so do walls of text. Text that don't give me enough time to read and comprehend make me feel dumb. Losing/ not saving a save game file after an awesome streak is enough impetus for me to not play again. I find games like Amnesia and Outlast are too sadisticly scary for me to actually play. After trying MANY times.. I've never finished Doom 3. I still vow to finish it though lol.

Lol we have something in common, not finishing Doom3. I recall deleting the game after a alien crawled through the stairs at me and I got such a big fright that I almost fell of my chair. Didn't help that I played with 5.1 surround sound either

Doom 3 is infamous amongst us gamers for being flippin' scary lol :p I play it with headphones in the dark. I waste so much ammo in that game because of the frights :/

That's how I played it too, and the fact that you can generally either see the demons or shoot at them but not both is hectic. I was a nervous wreck after I finished that game, but I still played the expansion pack afterwards.

Hmmmm lets see . . .

1. Murph I am sure I swear more than you when gaming.
2. HATED Skyrim
3. Can't play more than 30 - 40 mins of Deadspace - to fooken scary for me.
4. I am addicted to Starbound and terraria and warframe - I just can't stop
5. I suffer from motion sickness so I can't play most games
6. I miss games with proper storylines such as The Longest Journey

Now that is a game that deserves all my swear words. haha xD

Hahaha... I think all of us were brave with 5.1 Headphones and lights off... NEVER AGAIN! I will become a daywalker when I do try it again!

Ok so I only had mere stereo headphones but still...

I wonder if it would be as scary these days or if it would seem dated.

I have mentioned this some time ago, but I'm willing to repeat for the sake of sharing: I kinda like the Nancy Drew games. It's been quite a while since I last played one (I have Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake waiting patiently in my steam library) but I always find it enjoyable.

Story of my life before they got my medication balanced.

Some monsters eyes glow, so I use that to track them in the dark. This is great to hear ppl not bitching about not having both. I loved it this way, I played the BFG edition and the flashlight annoyed me. Wish they had an option to turn it off.

Speaking of Doom 3, I have another one:

- I used cheats to finish it. Like - I used all the cheats.
