Best story driven game for me has to be "The last of us". Can't wait for the DLC and I'm hoping they bring this IP over to the PS4 soon.
 
I'm still torn between giving a definite answer between these 2 games for me:

PC: Bioshock Infinite
PS3: The Last of Us

I got very involved in the story and world of Bioshock and it made me want to finish it in a single sitting (which is rare for a game for me). Yes, the game mechanics weren't perfect and you only needed the Carbine gun and didn't really have to use the other abilities.

The Last of Us though was probably all around better but freak it was hard/annoying at certain parts >.< Story wise it was just brilliant imo and almost had me shedding man tears at parts >.<
 
PC (But i played with an xbox controller so assume its awesome on xbox as well): Tomb Raider - Glad to see it appear here consistently.

3DS : Zelda A Link Between Worlds

Vita : Soul Sacrifice
 
2013 GOTY for me would be the new Tomb Raider. Was an absolutely brilliant game and can't wait for the next instalment.

Yeah the guns are a lot of fun, but the sword and all the abilities you get with it are the most fun by far. I had a blast. Certainly much better than any other FPS I've played recently.
 
I'm going to have to be a cliche in this. I totally agree with the GTA V choice for game of the year.

(I also voted for it as such in the community poll :D )

I'll have to persevere through the dry bit then, I agree on the sword, I find it incredible difficult to use guns when I have a sword that makes such a mess! :D
