metal fatigue

So, many moons ago I played Metal Fatigue and never got around to clocking it. I have found the old installation CD but can't get the game to work on Win7. I've gotten to a point where I can see the opening menu and start a new game but that's about it.

I tried changing the compatibility settings and nothing seemed to work. Any advice on how to get around this?

Without having to downgrade to Xp.

Use a virtual machine. I prefer VirtualBox myself: :::Linky:::

You actually had this game!? Way back in the day a buddy and I played the Demo from the PC Format CD's. And somehow after that never heard from it again. We briefly heard about Metal Fatigue 2 but that also disappeared.

I think I played that demo too and then stumbled across a copy at Bruma Flea market. Of course it was 100% legal..."whistling:

Man I loved that game! The only RTS game I ever enjoyed playing.

Wouldn't actually mind getting my hands on it again...

I sure you could find something on the big bad internet. Otherwise, *puts on best Russian accent* we make plan.

Pity that. So far I haven't had any luck getting it to work on my work PC. I'll have to spend some more time on it at home. Damn work...
