I am replaying the GOW series. I find that the remastered editions of 1 & 2 aren't framed properly.

Essentially you want to build a home/base/dwelling of sorts and, obviously, a mine. This will allow you to sleep, cook food, store goods you mine and craft items which will improve all aspects of your experience.

Mine deep enough and you'll find a rare ore that allows you to craft gateways to another dimension where the EnderDragon looms. That's about as end game as it gets, defeat the Dragon
