There's still life in those old consoles

The last three mentioned games are the ones i'm most looking forward to for this year and i have them all on per-order collectors editions.

Specially watchdogs, can't wait to get my hands on that title but i'm getting them all on pc though :p
 
I have watch dogs on pre-order, I might add Titanfall and Thief closer to the release date.
 
I'm still enjoying myself on the 360 with Bf4, regardless of the bugs and how much better it is on PS4 (goddammit I want one).

But my wife is playing the first Castlevania now, so she's super amped for the sequel. And Titanfall looks amazing, pity about the 6v6 cap on the games though.
 
I always feel so sad to see a console just standing there taking up space and dust so I give it to my younger cousin that is poor.
 
Exactly why i dont think its worth buying* new gen consoles yet

*winning is a whole different story :D
 
I also suspect we will see some serious price drops on the previous generation consoles themselves towards the end of this year.
R2000 for a 500gb PS3, anybody?
 
I am so ridiculously keen on Titanfall and I am a Playstation fan... Will have to see what the specs are like and if i can play it on my PC...

My PS3 is still doing me proud though, and I doubt that will change for at least the next 6 months... PS+ seems to have added alot of life to the PS3 as well...

ps2 will never be scarce i think sony sold close to 160 million units last time i checked

that is the most overproduced console ever and spare parts are easy to find
 
Only one I'm looking forward to is Watch Dogs, and even with that I feel like I should rather wait until I am able to get the PS4 version. After FF XIII-3: Lightning Returns releases next month I have nothing to look forward to on the PS3 until I get my hands on a PS4.
 
Yeah, I'd hold onto my old console for some time to come. Still plenty awesome games to come. With the new consoles the only reason I'd get one is if I got one for a bargain (which I did), or if I could win one (which I probably wouldn't). And with plenty of guys jumping on the PS4 bandwagon, they are flogging their PS3's for cheap, sometimes with a nice bundle of top games. Just have to browse the gaming forums for these deals.

That's how I got mine last year :D Cheap

But will also get myself the PS4 later this year, when prices drop ( despite the hike happening soon) Really want to pay R5999 for one, anything more is overpriced.
