Matriculants who celebrate their results by drinking and driving will be arrested, Gauteng traffic police said on Monday.

"We will be monitoring all routes to ensure safety of all road users," spokesman Obed Sibasa said.

"We will deal decisively with irresponsible, drunk drivers and speedsters."

He was speaking ahead of the release of the matric results on Tuesday.

I heard a lot went to Durban, I don't think they swam a lot in the sea. lol
Still a lot of deaths on our roads though. Scares me so I stayed at home playing Rapala fishing, because every time we went the the sea we shall go fishing, good memories.

Glad I stayed at home and I did noticed during the holiday period that lots of people were not driving properly and were having a lot of near misses which I never see normally wonder why :p.
 
Staying home is the safest, and sometime very fun when WE can play games , Luckily the matrics won't be so "windgat" at going to university.
 
Students are waaay worse than matriculants.

Probably right but I don't have friends that are like that, luckily we are all down to earth here, Alcohol can really affect the results of students so lets hope they are not drinking and driving.

Very true. For best results, do not write your exams drunk.
