Yeah, I liked the style that he drew it in so much that I immediately commissioned one for R100.

Van Sciver's stuff is really cool, Cosmic is littered with sketches from him. I'm pretty jealous. That's why I need some Prado and Reis loving in May. :cool:

Anyone have any signed books? I know Nemesis probably has a 'van Sciver' book or two...
I had Jason Masters sign two of my Batman Inc books that he worked on with Morrison and Burnham and then a Legends of the Dark Knight issue that he drew, Hoping to add to this collection.

Haha, you would be correct. If I remember right I have a signed sketch by him, The Sinestro Corps war (3 hardcovers), Batman/Superman hardcover and a artist sketchbook. Then the Batman B&W statue also has a signature on the top of the base. Should be in one of the earlier pics I put up.
 
That power girl print is awesome i have this though and when i bought it i was told they only made 1000 paid 1.2K for it
you can't se the full effect of the poster but it's one of those 3D movement ones

yoh now you bring back memories of when i was in school i also had all the superhero cards and damn that mortal kombat set was epic
 
I still have some X-Fleer cards from back in the day, but I don't think that they are in nearly the same condition as the ones that you have (after all, I got them in primary school). Somewhere in there I still have Marvel vs. DC Cards, too.
 
@Nem, Awesome Collection man! Iv been trying to find time to get pics of mine up... Weekend is upon us so will sort it out!

Iv got the same MK collection as you, different Marvel tho, think iv got Spiderman...

Ha, me as well. Guess it helped that it got put away somewhere where I forgot about them. I do have a few cards that's in a terrible state though. Maybe let me know what you got, always on the lookout for a few spare cards.

1. Marvel vs DC (1995)
Got the complete base set. Do have doubles of quite a few.
Missing most of the JLA vs Avengers Impact cards (got 1 of the 9).
Missing all of the X-Men vs Teen Titans Impact cards (got none).
Missing some of the Holo F/X cards (got 2 of the 12).
Got the 4 Amalgam preview cards.
Got two promo sheets of the two Impact card series.

Fleer Ultra X-Men Wolverine Edition (1996)
Got the complete base set. Do have a few doubles.
Got 2 of the 9 Holoflash cards.
Got 1 of the 3 Mirage cards.

Marvel Masterpieces (1994)
Got the complete base set. Do have doubles of quite a few.
Missing plenty of the signed variants.
Got 9 of the 10 silver variant holofoil subset.
Got 5 of the 10 gold variant holofoil subset.
Got none of the bronze variant holofoil subset.
got all 9 Power Blast subset cards.

Got the complete base set. No doubles.
Short all other cards.

DC Comics New 52 (2012)
Got the complete base set. No doubles.
Short all other cards.

Batman : The Legend (2012)
Got the complete base set. No doubles.
Short all other cards.

DC Firepower (1996)
Got most of the base set.
Got most of the Maximum Firepower cards.
Got none of the Holoburst cards.

Fleer Ultra X-Men (1994)
Got the complete base set. No doubles.
Short all other cards.

Fleer Ultra X-Men (1995)
Short 1 card in the base set. Got a few doubles.
Short all Sinister Observation cards.
Got the complete gold variant set of Hunters & Stalkers. Short the other variants.

Marvel Masterpieces (1995) - This set is highly sought after, along with the 96 set which I sadly don't have.

Got all 22 Canvas Cards, and doubles of 11 I think.
Got 2 of the 8 Holoflash Cards.
Got none of the Mirage cards. (2 grand a pop and up on eBay :( )

Mortal Kombat The Movie (1995)
Short 1 card in the base set. Got plenty of doubles.
Got all the red foil cards.
Short 1 card of the gold border warrior cards.

Superman The Man of Steel Platinum Series (1994) - These cards are a bit longer than your standard trading card.
Got most of the base set. Got a few doubles.
Got two of the forged in steel cards.

Marvel Universe Series III (1992)
Got about 150 of the 200 base set.
Got a few of the chase cards.

Also have a few odds and ends stashed here, cards for sets I don't have much of.
 
I got rid of all my trading cards when my first son was born. cos i jsut didn't have time to put the effort into it anymore and work got way toi hectic.

My son is actually collecting the rugby cards atm

Mike Mignola, guy who did the Hellboy comics. Was not very popular when it came out (only 2300 or so made) but it caught on and sought after by collectors now. I've seen them go for $200 and up on eBay.
