Downloading Dota2 but it's taking so long,speeds are 35kb/s
sitting at 43% now.
Best to stay away from Steam on a Friday night. For some reason it's Volvo's chosen day for updates, too.

Oh good, just hats, then? Thought they'd found a way to get rid of the Russians, etc, on the SA server - I'm starting to miss Dota!

Is there any reason WHY there are so many russians on the S.A server? It just doesn't make sense? Why don't they just play on european servers?

See my post a few pages back - think it summed it up pretty nicely. Basically, tick every region, regardless of distance from you/ping, get the quickest game, profit.

I joined a Russian server for lolz a while ago, and the players were all surprisingly good.
Yeah, it's easier for the MM service to match you against players of similar skill when the pool of players is large enough to choose from.

I played Broodmother a lot before I threw in the towel. She's my second favourite character after NP. Huge pushing potential! I found the best way to play her is to just camp the offlane - pop your first web at the side shop and just leech xp and knick a last hit or two. Even if they buy wards, you can just phase into the trees. After about lvl 6 your enemies usually go roaming anyway, leaving you to pick off their towers while the pretty much ignore you for the rest of the game - it's not like they're ever going to find you if they come looking for you!

True, had the best round with her. Being able to 1v1 almost every hero using her ultimate was very satisfying. She does plenty damage with her spiderlings as well.
I see your point though, however when I hang around leeching I fall behind in rank very fast - Still new at this

Yeah, that's the one drawback of that tactic, so it's important to get early kills. Get a butterfly + basher, and a vlads if you can. Easiest way to lvl up with her, too, is to go mid. She's brilliant there

Like people trying to play Meepo who don't have a clue how to micro. Only, worse. Much, much worse...
The problem with Broodmother is that spiderling pushes can be easily countered by a Earthshaker and you can also be easily killed if Earthshaker manages to get an early blink and catches you around your spiderlings.
I imagine there will be lots of raging, name calling, screams of techies is OP; you know the usual when a new hero is added.
Otherwise I'm quite looking forward to having some fun with him. On a different note what do you think will happen when all the heroes from the original Dota is added to Dota 2? Will we have to wait for new heroes to be added to the original Dota or will Valve start working on original Dota 2 hereos?
