Right, so diets officially lack flavour... Anybody know what sauces are healthy for you apart from Tabasco (Over-killing it already)?

I use Basil Pesto, Red Pepper Pesto or Rocket Pesto with Walnuts - a small bit aka half a teaspoon can go a long way to flavour your meat and veggies, and if you still eat pasta which we do - spinach with mushrooms, chicken livers and 3 teaspoons of red pepper pesto - awesome taste.

Plus you can use the pesto on bread to add flavor - I spread a thin layer instead of butter/marge, and add my cold meat to it.

I get the Pesto Princess range from spar - about R35 per bottle, buy a few flavours and keep them in the freezer, take it out 30mins before using and it will have defrosted enough for using. That way it lasts forever.

I have been looking for this pesto brand since I tasted it at the Good Food & Wine convention at the CTICC about 2 years ago.

Dude, if diet-food tastes like nothing, then you're doing it wrong. I did the Men's Health Belly-Off challenge two years ago and the eating plan was the best tasting food I've ever tasted. Google it.
 
We're off Version 6 now. New accountant convinced boss to upgrade. Boss even asked pastel for a discount. lol

Lucky bugger - Boss is refusing to upgrade even tho my vers keeps crashing and dying on me. . .

Ya man Pesto is the business! Make it fresh at home its really easy! And even more delicious fresh! Basil, walnuts, and olive oil with a bit of garlic, and maybe chilli if you like it...
The Pesto Princess stuff is also great though...

I see it everywhere here in JHB. Maybe they don't like you Capies enough to send stock there.
 
Awesome! I'm gonna check my nearest Spar to see if they have. I'd expect it to be at places like Pick & Pay.
