I was wondering what MyGaming will report. A list from most registrations to least would be awesome. Because Dota is no surpirse. Double the amount to last year.. but the big surprise is Hearthstone.
Starcraft is down a bit, but still over 100 1v1 registrations.

The noob pawnage in Dota will be fun to see :D I know of a lot of teams that thinks they're good and they really believe they're going to Rage, but their true skills compared to what I've seen some of the big Clan Dota Teams have will be like Mike Tyson fighting a 10 year old. #CrushedDreams :D

I had the misfortune of playing up against a few players from BvD in a pub game...I thought that perhaps my training since last DGL would be enough to close the gap in skill...It wasn't :D
 
When they get e-sports /gaming competitions in every region, is the day that gaming will be more popular in south africa, I think they should get competitions like this into schools.

Rage is a very good place to play against other south africans, but you have to pay I think R350 for a nag lan ticket and you have to be 5 in a team so that is a lot of money just to practise.

After dota 2 become free to play without the need of first registering to get a key, a lot of people in south africa have started playing, I just think most of us don't have the large amount of data required for all the frequent updates.

This will be the eventual death of it, sadly. While I'm all for it, there are more foreigners it seems on our servers than locals. What that means is that the quality of our opponents diminishes, and you only get better by playing against better people. So unless you're LANing only, it's just not gonna happen, because MMR just isn't balanced. There is a flipside to this, though, in that when you occasionally do come up against quality opposition from another country, it introduces you to a different play style, which is always a good thing. As per my pic, though, that's going to happen rarely...

Competitive Dota is a WHOLE other ball game compared to regular Dota. I remember trying to play with a bunch of friends in the Sunday Evening Cup series and we got owned so badly! :o

Lol, as of late there are far fewer russians in fold [or at least that I've played with; so it is better
 
I always wanted to get into Dota just didn't have the time I wonder is it to late for me has the bus left me behind.

but that is also the best way to learn those comps teach you a shit load... i remember the first the DGL i didnt know wtf i was doing with to0kenza but i have come a long way from those tourneys
