Gamer Confessions..

So ....... if you had the choice of entering a quest (in a mmo) on normal/hard/elite, you guys would go in on normal? Why, where's the sense of challenge?

I do that too. I just play it on the difficulty that it was intended to be played on, i.e. the difficulty that the creators thought was good enough to be considered normal.

Always thought the first level of difficulty is what they intended us to play on and others were for challengers not half inbetween :p

I again find the easy difficulty too easy. So I start the game on the hardest difficulty available, then replay on easy when I finished.

I figure that I'd play it on the base difficulty. I have so many games that I need to play that I don't really have time to play something more than once, so I just play it on the base.

That's not wrong. They actually sometimes say "For someone who hasn't played this game before" when Easy is highlighted.
Different strokes.

That's why I don't ever play on easy, because it is literally 'too easy' and makes the entire playthrough feel like you are too potent for this game to handle you. Normal is fine, though.

I also sometimes use the easy run through to learn the fights so I can do harder modes.

Dont think Starcraft 2 on hard would have been easy without learning the fight first same with WoW raids.

I always play on the hardest setting I can but its got more to do with that I just payed R600 for this game so it better last.

Starting on easy and then making your way up to hard makes the game last longer than just starting on hardmode, since you won't go to other levels after completing it.

On the flipside again, some games played on hard difficulty make you PLAY and PAY.

For me that was MGR Revengeance. The part where you take that elevator up to that server room. I spent over a week just dying over and over again.

What I took from it was being to play much better further.

And then there was Gears of War 1 on Insane. The story itself took some time and frustration, and RAAM himself was a shocker. I think I spent a week just trying to kill RAAM on Insane.

there was a stage in my life where i didnt focus on any gaming so basically the the elder scrolls series ... yeah havent played any of them, the halo series yeah nope, the mass effect series nope those are among the few to mention :(

Wow! Dude you have to play those epic games.

I have a confession:

I'm starting to get bored of Rivals, maybe I should try cop mode :(

Started playing split second but that's becoming repetitive.

Then began playing blur and that becoming a grind fest

Any racing suggestions for PC?

Heard Assetto Corsa is epic. I've never been a huge racing fan though...
