Jeez iv been playing Tomb Raider for a long time... Bought my first game in England when i was about 11 which would have been 1997...

I'm not a big fan of Alison Carroll. For me my favourite live-action Lara will forever be Karima Adebibe. :love:

That's the beauty advancements in graphics makes, it also helps that she was modelled after a hottie:

Is this a joke? They don't even line up. Jaw line, chin, brow and cheekbones. Those are very distinctive features that should be similar in the least.
 
On the topic of metamorphosis how would you have reacted if Rhianna Pratchett got her way and made Lara gay? Yes, you read that right, TR writer Rhianna Pratchett wanted to make Lara gay and here's a link to the interview.

Personally I don't think I would've cared especially if some lara x sam (Google image search that) action took place in the game. :D Then again it would've probably been too controversial to include in the game even though they've never really alluded to Lara's sexuality in any of the previous games.

Probably because they would have to pay royalties to AJ for the use of her likeness. And the fact that Lara had a look and line of games long before AJ was cast as her. :p

True, but sales could also increase drastically should guys hear that the game is being "endorsed" by AJ

Yeah this. I love AJ but I never really thought she was a good representation of Lara, so I'm glad they decided to keep the looks of the two beauties separate.

Evolution has done her well, damm if she is becoming the new lara then we are going to have a hard time concentrating on the game.
 
Her likeness is used as the base for the new Lara but she won't become the new live action Lara. If I'm not mistaken they said they would no longer use a live model to promote the Tomb Raider games.
