Which older games are you still playing to this day?

Bro...you need to let go :P

Hehe. I never finished this game back in the day. Now I have it again, so I am going to do EVERYTHING that the game has to offer. All the Limit Breaks, all the Weapon Battles, Chocobo breeding, Knights of the Round...every single thing.

Then rinse, repeat with VIII :D

VIII is going to be mission ek se. Took farking forever to get all the cards and don't even mention the recipe ingredients for the best weapons.

I think I was grade 7 when I got FFVIII. Played it for 4 months without a memory card! Was so sad when I had to switch off the PS.

My mother was obsessed with the "adapter" that was going to blow. Ai.

Jeez oke, that's a serious streak. When I played it (I was roundabout the same age that you were), I got nearly all the cards and I did get most of the GFs and ingredients. Going to do all of that again.

I can proudly say that i have done EVERYTHING there is to do in FF VIII... All the cards... That took long... You have to beat "the queen of cards" to get them all... and if you loose a character card the only way to get it back it from the person you lost it to... All the best weapons wasnt that difficult... I know a way to get lion heart LANK early in the game... Island of Heaven and Island of Hell had most of the stuff you need... All the Guardian forces... Except the Mini Mog... I didnt have some handheld you had to use to get it... This was awesome... Especially beating the ultimate weapon...

You sir, are awesome. Truth be told I bought a Gamesmaster book with a guide as vague as fcuk to get all the recipe ingredients.

Island of heaven and hell was a bitch. Was so underlevelled it wasn't funny.

Unfortunately they only sold the handheld device in Japan if memory serves me.

In my recent gaming years I have never felt so much joy as hitting 250 in boost when summoning the GF's.

Sniff

I actually started writing a guide, where to get all ingredients for every weapon, not just the final ones, Where to get all GF's, Where to get all the cards, I even went as far as to say which Guardian force to junction to which character to give you the most attribute slots, and then what materia to junction to what attributes for the best combination :wtf:

Jeez that nearly confused me :D:D

And yes! Mashing away at those buttons to get your GF Boost was awesome!

What happened to your guide? Do you still have it?

Isn't there one coming out? I don't think its called dungeon keeper but i think thats purely because of licensing. The screen shots looked pretty much like original Dungeon keeper but HD. I could be wrong it was a while back that I saw it.

War for the Overworld. It's going to be epic!

Im not sure if i do... will have to look around... Its all hand written in a book "whistling: lol...

Good times...

That no leveling guide sounds stupid... It completely defeats the point of the game...

I don't understand why people would do this. It sounds like it takes a lot of the fun out of the game and that the writer is a pretty miserable person.

The writer of that guide is really biased in his walkthrough but some people actually "enjoy" the added difficulty. That being said my friend is a rat bastard with minimal to none emotions who prefers farming over a good storyline :)

Discovered a very old game, Skyroads.

Can anyone still remember? I had to play it in dosbox. It's got catchy music and was fun back in the day of windows 95 - 98 days

Dungeon Keeper 1&2 were great games, would love an HD remake.

That would be awesome! :)

I think you're thinking of this:

At first I LOL'd but then I was like  At least Advent Children gives you a little bit of closure, well at least it did for me. :(

I prefer wikia to a complete game guide. At least that way I can get help with just the thing I am stuck on rather than using a guide from start to end.
