The Collectable Thread

Damn now that is something i can see in my collection, i will sometime get into the comic thread with you guys but i havent read a comic in 2 years o i'm verry out of it and wouldn't know where to start again.

I actaully still have the Death of superman Novel somewhere packed away the one with the black cover.

and i'll look into the bid or buy scene maybe i'm lucky

I would not mind some other artists in my collection as well. Comic wise I have not bought a hard copy in almost 16 or so months.

I have digital ones, just not ones I paid for... but will be looking to get into a series or so on my iPad.

A while back while working on a PC, the guy gave me his external to do backups and their was a comic collection on there, about 100 000 of them. Copy/paste thank you. Still busy sorting them out as it was a mess and it's taking forever. I also like to rename them the way I like to index my comics.

Have you seen any of the new Deadpool stuff? Its not great... Like revived dead presidents of america killing people and shit...

I bought the first one of the new "relaunch" and thats where i stopped...
 
I think with something like the GOW collections, you need to start from the beginning... So i would try get the original collectors figures that shipped with the games, which would be pretty difficult i think... Going back a few years there...
 
Here is some of my comic boxes. The Batman statue is the one I'm giving to Avenged (kinda difficult popping to the PO quickly, otherwise the TK group is gonna gang up on me and pass me hehe, but promise, all yours once the crazy is done on the forum).

Hahaha thanks dude! Take your time with it, we don't want you dropping out of the Tiop 25. Jis those boxes are awesome. Did you do them yourself? Perhaps I should also look at doing something like that.

:) My wife was busy doing some decoupaging and I thought I could try my hand at that. Pretty chuffed with the Supes, GL and Bats ones, but stuffed up the Spidey box. Still want to do a few more boxes sometime. Looks so much better than the normal plain boxes and it's kinda one of a kind.

I agree, they look awesome. I'd love to do the same. Even the Spidey one looks cool. Adds character, I reckon.
 
I forgot to add that i also collect books, its not a huge library but we have about 500 books so far in the house and in storage.

Yeah Tom, got it signed when he was here in 2009 at Cosmic Comics, along with a few other signed graphic novels and that sketch I posted earlier.

They don't look cheap, what are the usuall price at Heathway, Jhb, expensive or fair?
