I've only been here a week now but it has been far from dead in this forum. I hope things don't get too quiet I've enjoyed all the activity.

I think forums are slowly starting to get old as most people use facebook nowadays, most people i speak with would rather use facebook than forums, but i still like the forums though :D

I think it will be quiet for a few days. Maybe till after the weekend. Everybody wants to catch up with their work "whistling:

For me, Facebook is a pretty low on the communication hierarchy, just above scribbling on the walls of public restrooms.
The restrooms have better spelling, grammar and substance and Facebook has superior refresh rates and quantity.
Don't get me wrong, I'm on Facebook myself but only because I have friends who don't know how to log off and use other forms of communication.

Well, MyBB is 10 times the size of MyGaming and the largest forum in South Africa, so pretty much anything will look dead in comparison.

I agree, you can't have many constructive discussions on Facebook. Posting to public group is an exercise in ego, kinda like twitter - just blasting out your opinion and forgetting about it without really wanting to engage on a deep level.
 
I could really do with those Gunnar's, considering that I spend up to 8hrs a session of gaming....

Please let me win them?
 
Going for holiday from tomorrow for a week, will try to post on the forum, hopefully its a quiet week at mygaming so I can catch up :p
