I fully agree with both of this. If you do not want a game, you should not enter the competition. You should ONLY enter for games you really want or at least want to try out.

Hence, this week I only entered for Alice Madness Returns, which I really badly want, and The Stanley Parable which looks really interesting.

i tend to agree with all of these statements. what makes it worse is his winning ratio! :P
 
Every time I try to join the MyG group on steamgifts, it asks me to sync my Steam account.

It does this every time. Can someone add me to the group? My nickname there is DuckKnuckleZA
 
Quick update re my issue with SteamGifts.

I sent them a short letter explaining that I gave some of the games I won to friends without knowing that I had to activate it onto my account.

The came back to me with the following reply:
Hello dampi,
There are no strikes or warnings here, just direct temporary suspensions.
Per site rules, all wins must be activated on the winning account.
Unfortunately for you, we weren't aware sooner of your situation.
You are currently facing about 2 months worth of accumulated suspensions.
If you can activate any of your wins that can be reduced.
Since you came forward, we'll give you two days to activate anything you can.


So it looks like I will be suspended for two months which is better than banned. :)

All's well that ends well I guess.

lol. Dude, these things happen bro. Don't stress it. 2 months and I'm back in the winning seat. I think it is good for all the other peeps here so they can get a chance to also win. :D
