AMD posts R900 million loss despite next-gen console boost

There was a bit of improvement in 2013, and it keeps growing. I am sure 2014 will be a big year for them! Still sad to read about that big loss though
 
Well that's disappointing, but one can only hope they manage to keep gaining ground. We must always hope for AMD to make a comeback because we'll all be the losers if they go away as a lack of competition is never a good thing except for the monopolistic company.

Yeah something us here in SA are all too familiar with unfortunately.
 
What most guys don't realize is, AMD is already making a Huge comeback.
New GPU's are selling out as soon as stock hits the shelves, new APU's are doing really well and honeslty I think APU's are the future.
I have a sneaky suspicion that Nintendo's new next Gen console will also be making use of a AMD apu setup.

Its just a matter of time and they'll be on top again.
