tbh, I haven't even bought the game yet,,, first want to know if its worth it. looks dam good. VERY real life shooting, one shot and you are dead.

Want it!! maybe getting it for me

Yea i see it was a mod for Counter Strike, but they made it a Stand Alone game now, and i see on Gametracker they have one SA server up but it's still empty.

Believe me, its dam good... the Graphics are awesome, the gun sounds! and they really focused on realism on the weapons ect.

I was looking to start an Insurgency thread, but I saw this one instead.

I have put up a server, it's called "StoneCold's Insurgency Server |ZA|"

Here's hoping we can get some more locals to fill up the server :)

Are there anyone playing on the SA servers atm? the one from Gametracker just stays empty.

I've had a few internationals in the past, but sadly no locals yet (from what I've seen) :(

It's a real pity though, it's an awesome game. I bought it for $5 during the winter sale, so I scored big time. I think if I idle long enough on the server, people will connect. We definitely need more locals, they're missing out on a really nice shooter experience :)
 
The server is visible in the browser now, I initially forgot to add the region setting to my command line. I see the game is currently 3rd on the top sellers list on Steam, slowly but surely it's gaining more popularity. Here's hoping we can get a few SA people to play :)

Yea i see 3rd on the top sellers list.. not bad at all, game looks tempting though :D
 
So how is the servers going with this game for South Africa? Interested in it but would not like to see dead SA servers.

Yeah that's the pro tho dude :( Noone knows about these games. Remember that Chivalry server you had? Yeah... really hoped that game picked up some steam.
