Have you ever had so much work, that your body immediately goes into procrastinate mode...
On a weekly basis . . . .
All I wanna do is go home

Haha I also get that. The only way that I can get myself to work when that happens is to divide everything up in a list and prioritise the list.
That's indeed the textbook way of time management, but at the moment I have so many deadlines that needs to be completed by tomorrow morning, I don't know even where to start. So now I'm on the forum waiting for data to download...

I do that as well, hoping that while I'm busy with drawing up the list somebody else will do some of the work.
Haha that's always a bonus.Plus making a list is fun and takes away some of the stress for a bit. Well, except if you have tons of deadlines like mentioned before.
So here's a funny story.
I went to visit my step-mother in hospital yesterday because she has just had a hip replacement op. When we got there, she couldn't figure out what button to press to get the bed into a sitting position, so I looked at it and found the button and pressed it to get it into a nice sitting position.
While we were chatting, the old tannie on the other side of the room started talking to us about something and struggling to sit up, so my parents said I must help her with the bed controls as well. So I went over to help, only to realize that she's lying there naked. I pressed the button to get the bed to sit up, trying desperately not to look at anything and put the control where she can reach it and retreated back across the room, only to have my parents say that I mustn't just press the button, I must show her what button to press so she can do it herself, so I tried to show her the buttons without looking at her, and retreated again just before a nurse showed up and shouted at her for being naked and covered her up. By the time we left, she was naked again.
Very sad to see old people going like that, but damn, what an awkward situation.
