ja the picnic area is not public property and belongs to the community there. its a place on the vaal river called "Vaaloewer"

and thing is i am renting a house near there for the weekend but i doubt the people im renting it from will allow us to have a braai for plus minus 17 ppl at the house. im all for drinking but if im going to be consuming so much alcohol i need to eat as well

You are paying them alot of money and they must just do what you want if they want business.threaten them.

if they allow us to braai we will have to buy all alcohol from the pub. They do offer a braai package but for what you get its shit expensive it would basically work out to r160 p/p for a salad, wors, chop and garlic bread....
