I know a place in Vanderbijlpark that caters to parties like that. Booze cruise, braai, swimmingpool, pub etc etc. Really lovely place called Stonehaven-on-vaal. Last time I went there they banned me for life.

Plus just down the road from Stonehaven is Rafterz where you can play pool, listen to more alternative music and watch bands when they are there. Loved that place. In fact I met my wife there years ago.

Rafterz was started by a friend of mine's cousin, I think. Not sure what the exact family relation is. We were 1st or 2nd year when the place opened. Don't think he still owns it.

that place was ridiculous with the party boat price. There the party boat cost something like r2500 for 2 hours for a 12 seater and every additional hour was something like another r1000.

Candy's is costing a lot less. Their boat has space for 26 people and costs 100 per person for two hours

Ah cool, it's a small world. :) I'm friends with the current owner. Though I haven't seen him in years to be honest. I used to play pool for Rafterz in the Vaal Triangle pool league. I moved to Joburg 4 years ago though and haven't been back to Rafterz since.

Ongelukkig het ons nie n opening act gehad nie. So julle het baie tyd om in te kom maar passop vir standing - daar was n paar vuis gevegte gewees :S

Dit is die set list vir die SA toer. Waiting on a sunny day was n fail gewees - niemand het saam gesing met dit nie. Die res was amazing. Ek moet se American Skin was my fav song gewees van die aand, en Shout die tweede - jirre was hy mal met shout en American skin was meer acoustic en amazing.

Met Dancing in the dark het hy n paar van die dames voor op die stage laat klim en hulle het met hom en die band members gedans. Oh en hy het hier en daar iemand se bier help klaar maak.

Dis so 3 ure dalk bietjie langer, eks nie seker hoe laat ons daar weg was nie. En geen intermission nie, ek sou se kry julle seats, stock op water of drank, en dont move till it is done :D Ons het ook gesit, as julle verkykers het, vat dit saam - ons het een gedeel vir die tye wanneer hy in die crowds in gegaan het.
 
ok sort it our braai issue out. we will now be braaiing on the boat and i have booked the boat for an extra hour.
