Digital "jailtime" for rage-quitters

but yeah they have somethign similair for Dota tis called low priority

And its kak, played on the low priority pool before (I blame Telkom - and double note: it was because of a Friend). I won't bother playing in low priority again.

Honestly wish they had this for BF4. People quit way too easily and some people with great looking stats have a huge quit percentage. That to me is just stat padding, anything above 25% quits.
I thought if you left a game it counted as a loss for you.

Nope, it doesn't count that game. Your kd and kills obviously get counted but it doesn't affect your wl ratio or anything. Also people will quit and join games unit they find a game full of noobs - where they can get a good kd. I know a few of those.

In my previous clan we had a guy from the netherlands who quit while we were playing a squad rush competitive scrim, just because it was a ranked server and we were getting hurt badly. He didn't want his precious kd to be affected by 6 games max of squad rush (I'm still a bit bitter about it now, lol :p). His quit ratio was 60% or something.

In the end to me, a bf players stats are only valid if their quits are low.

I always thought if you decided to leave a game it counted as a loss to you. They should really implement it, maybe if you've been playing for longer than 5-10 minutes and you leave it counts as a loss. Does the number of games quit affect a players rank at all?

Nah it doesnt, you still get all your kills and XP that you got in the game, so you will still rank and whatnot, but the game just doesn't count for your wl stat if you leave before the end. Doesn't matter how far into the game or even a few seconds before the end either.

I was surprised to learn that too. Coz it'll still show up in Battlelog as a game you played in, and if your team lost that game, but for your actual w/l stat it doesn't affect it.

Perhaps when enough people complain about people leaving games like that they'll implement some sort of punishment. Most of the games that do that already didn't start out that way. Maybe they could implement it on certain game modes or game sizes only, because a player leaving on a 64 player game wouldn't really make too much of a difference

Perhaps, although right now a lot of peoples excuse is all the game crashes and bugs. Of course some are that, but they're mainly just full of BS.

Aah seems the low priority model is spreading around. I can attest to the fact that it generally works out properly

I remember reading about another game that if it detected that you were cheating, it would only match you up with other cheaters. Can't remember what game it was though.

Just imagine all the cheaters running around with god mode enabled :D Sounds like fun!

it really is super shit but unfortunately if you do land up in low priority you have to play to get out as its no longer time based btu rather games based

but its so hard some times ....

The harder it is; the more important it is that you actually call GG. :D

Low priority makes you really appreciative of good gameplay. Makes the community interaction far more bearable for some time.

That's an awesome change. It is terrible playing in it though, never again, never forget!
