Yep a few of us have gotten that now. Seems the texts were sent at the same time as a few of us posted we'd got one right after each other. Now I guess the 'outcome' they will inform us about is whether we made the first 100 D:
 
Sounds promising dudes. Hopefully its not just a mass sms to everyone who applied, but more a specific sms to the top100.

Yeah, it sounds like they have 100 units pre-allocated from their supplier just for FNB customers, so I'm sure you won't have to wait too long for them :)

And if you dont get into batch 1 there will be more, so dont stress about it...
 
Ya they probably got all they could from the distributors until the next batch of imports. There will be more I'm sure.
 
I'm just worried about how long the wait would be for the next batch if we weren't in the first 100. I really don't mind waiting but Takealot's PS4 page states they expect new stock in April! I'd prefer to have a PS4 before the great games like Infamous and MGS release :p

I would also worry if the next batch are the same price, they will probably be a different bundle, so I guess the price would vary with whatever is bundled, but with exchange rates going the way they are, the price might come up soon.

Yeah same here. I would like to cancel my application if stock will only be here a month of two from now ( that's if we did miss the initial 100)

Otherwise it's just a matter of time now, have to wait.

They will probably sms again tomorrow or something

Yeah. Then they'll probably have some stupid bundle like just the PS4 with 1 controller for the same price if things go up even more D:

Another guy on sagamer said he called them and it's approved but something about it being on back order? He said he confirmed at 12 15

That's pretty concerning as 12 15 is pretty early. Mines was an hour later than that.. But then again he was informed by call centre.. Could have been someone misleading. Also brilliant tactic by fnb by saying 100 only and taking many more orders..

i actually think its gonna backfire. if they do genuinely only have 100 in stock, but have taken orders for (example) 1000, then they will have 900 irate and disgruntled customers to deal with
