Oh awesome! A friend of mine is reading the Dark Tower stuff, and he is pretty into it. I think you made a wise choice in getting those, they are next on my list after Y: the Last Man (which is also being made into a TV show, ugh).

I don't own a lot of comics in printed format. I have one Donald Duck comic with the newest date (only date, actually) in the fine print on page one being 1953. I wonder if it is worth anything?

I have an 8 year old daughter. Off course I know Adventure Time. I love the idea of the post apocalyptic setting. I have decided that all the magic creatures are mutants. And Finn is the last pure human left.
nah, dont ever watch Adventure Time. but i have once or twice caught this show on CN with the 2 cats. they are brothers and go to school and stuff. cant recall the name, but the humour was excellent
That would be "The Amazing World of Gumball" and it is very funny. They aren't cats, btw. Their mom's a cat and their dad is a bunny. Gumball looks like his mom and Darwin looks like his dad. They have a sister as well that is still pre-school.
For also try and catch "The Regular Show".

I'll take picture sometime and post it in the comics thread, but I don't think it's worth anything. I suspect it is a local print at a much later date under a local publishers badge. The original was probably printed in 1953 and they didn't add the reprint date to the copyright info.
Also, the condition isn't great.
I also have a few other comics I bought in the early 80s that is still lying in a drawer somewhere.
