Haha well almost...I've been with them for a VERY long time yet I'm not quite tempted by the offer yet when I still feel it'll get sweeter (okay truth be told none of the games out yet for it make me really want one). Now let's see if they can sweeten that deal later this year with something I really want...
 
Im hoping for a deal similar to the one makro had in december with the ps camera and pretty much what the fnb offer is.... but agreed, the games on offer here are not the greatest..

We basically applied on the same time, so I will be contacted tomorrow! Will give them a call tomorrow anyways to confirm!

Just gave them a call and my order was approved which means I made the first 100 :) Asked her about delivery and she said it'll take between 10-15 working days :( Apparently you can't collect if you made an online order. She also said the courier will phone a few days before they dispatch for delivery.

Congrats! I don't mind waiting the 10-15 days. It feels long but it's better than not getting into the 100 at all :p

I phoned 0860 102 970 then push 6 for Smart Devices and then 4 to speak to an agent. Sat on hold for about 10 minutes.

How come I always get an SMS directly after phoning them >.< Although this 1 is a lil' worrying :/

"FNB :) Your smart device application has been approved. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a stock shortage and will issue a delivery instruction as soon as stock becomes available. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused"

Perhaps just a general message they sent out? Lady on the phone said I made the 100 >.<

I just got that text too! And they said yesterday I am one of the first 100. Also tried calling but they are "experiencing high call volumes" :mad:. Hope this is just a general text sent to everyone that applied regardless of whether they made it into the first 100 or not.
 
Blehh this sucks, and we don't even know when they will receive stock. I'm just gonna prepare for a 2month wait. sigh
 
So I just got through to them after receiving that awful text. Apparently I am now not one of the 100 despite being told yesterday I am :mad:. Their excuse is that the girl that told me I am one of the 100 is new and they will investigate as to why I was told that. Of course they profusely apologise and I now need to wait for new stock to arrive :cry:

I know how you feel man, it's terrible. And stock won't arrive before end of this month!
