Official Battlefield 4 Thread

I can't play at the moment because Telkom are being a bunch of tards, that said less and less of my mates are playing the game because dice seems unwilling to fix things, and now rumors are doing the rounds that the new BF will be launched this year...How the fuck can they launch a new game when the current one is a complete mess.

Yes the game can be very rewarding and fun, but most of the time, bugs/hit reg/sound/server issues ruin it completely,
 
Because EA is having another dev code the next BF apparently. if true then bf4 is the last title I buy seeing as they want a cod clone straight up along with annual releases... :(

I've been issue free (Bar sound crap) for almost a week now - having fun daily on the battlefield.

Look under your pistols and see if there i a scoped M1911

Also the rumors of another BF coming this year is a bit insane i think because the last exp will only hit like Nov or so so i don't see a BF5 coming.

and Dice have not registered any new IP's

That's because DICE aren't the developers for BF5.

To me DICE have their priorities completely in the wrong place when it comes to fixing. They spent their time adding bullshit features everytime instead of tackling the big serious issues.
On console this last patch they added a flashy selector thing when you enter battlelog to join on your mates... I presume its meant to look good and impressive but all it does is make you think your controller is malfunctioning. Good spend on dev resources there dice, well done.

But are these all DICE's decisions? It might be the guys at EA deciding that they need to add stuff to draw attention away from the bugs, obviously not working though.
 
BF5 in 2014? NONONONONONONONONO, dont be like that...

Make it 2015 and make it futuristic like BF2142(3).

I've been lucky, no major problems, just some sound issues at some map starts but nothing big. Had some awesome games Friday and Saturday evening.

Game is great! Need to learn the CR maps though...damn, cant wait for the next DLC!
 
I logged in for a game the other night - it seems like just logging in once during Feb gets you all the battlepacks handed out since the beginning of the month because there were a stack waiting for me.

Opening them must have been fun! I know when I open just one or two TF2 crates it's so fun up until you get some rubbishy weapon XD

Yeah fan appreciation month apparently...Wish they would just fix the game instead of giving us all the useless battlepacks :(
 
Well i played a few rounds on Azreal server last night and i have to say i have no game issues anymore sound or otherwise nut when you stand point blank to a guy and you pop 6 shots with a shotgun and you get no hit markers then you know the damn game is broken or when you can shoot while he's coming up a lift but the doors aren't even open yet. This game is still so broken and apparently you can't spot Slap mines anymore :(

What do you mean? And what is a slap mine?
 
well if you enter a lift and someone is waiting at the top they can start shooting while the lift is coming up and kill you through the door without the doors opening. and a slap mine is the M2 SLAM mine but i just call it slap mine cos you can slap them on vehicles doors door posts gates you name it
