New PS4 stock arriving in South Africa

Wonder if FNB had a chat to them about the recommended retail price before they did their costings...

Fnb could get a bit of a burn here if not...
 
Sending the same SMS again does not help much.

We agreed to the R359 price per month, and applied for it. They cannot make it more expensive

Also, you should get the same bundle as you applied for if it was approved.

6 of those 8 are on PC though, so if you have a good PC, what would the point of a PS4 be?

Most people on this forum are primarily PC gamers, and it's hard for us to justify paying so much for a console with so few good exclusives. Therefore, this argument is just childish:

Such a unintelligent response, I'll respond in the same manner then...so you can understand.

My Gigabyte GTX780Ti Windforce Oc Edtion costs about R3000 more than your PS4 Doorstop.
It has nothing to do with being able to afford it, there are no decent games available for it. Simple as that.
 
@joker Good response. It's not an issue of if people can afford it, but more that people don't like the games coming out. Also a persons perception of the value of a game. I won't spend R800 when I don't think I will enjoy it too much an get my money's worth, even though I can afford it, I choose not to buy it.
 
I generally only buy for the exclusives :) The cost of the game however I'm still not convinced. If it's going to be a game I know will be amazing because the previous titles from the Developer were good then I'd probably just fork out the price. To me those are your widely anticipated titles like Infamous or anything from Naughty Dog :) But show me a third Batman not done by the original developer and that is going to make me first wait for all the reviews and then a price drop/steam special :p

Side note though as mentioned by blaaislaai. I also got the FNB sms again earlier today saying they are experiencing stock issues.

Same here. So I would assume they received none of this new batch then (or only those 100 at least, confirming I am not one of them despite all their confusion) :(

Well most those games are on the Pc so what are you actually saying about your uber all powerfull pc then.
