Batman Arkham Origins bugs? Have some DLC instead

Wow. How considerate of them. Adding more content to pay for rather than fix the content you already paid for.

So now we have to pay to fix the broken product sold by a half-arsed dev team instead of just patching it for free like normal. I predict a sad future with gaming

I don't recall any bugs from my side. Just the first boss-fight was bloody frustrating (not a bug though). Overall, it is not a bad game, but I probably won't be playing it again or buying DLC for it.

This irks me as I am actually stuck and stopped playing because of a bug where the line gun wont attach to one of the anchor points and this is preventing me from proceeding.

I guess this sort of thing tends to happen when the game becomes a yearly fixture.

Standard practice in the gaming industry these days.
They really don't give a shit about the people that support their games. If I look at it right now, Its the same with EA/Dice, Activision ect.
Won't ever stop either because gamers keep supporting them, so why should they strive to fix games when they know gamers will eventually forget.

Wow, haven't seen you around these parts for a long time.

Which part exactly? Maybe I can help? Or is this a known bug?

While people don't like Activision and their yearly releases of CoD, one cannot accuse Activision for releasing a faulty product. No CoD in recent memory (If ever?) has had the same launch issues that BF3 and BF4 did. CoD is also continuously supported post-launch and I'm not talking about DLC.

Keep in mind that I have never encountered bugs in Guitar Hero and have never play Skylanders.

Did you play Ghosts on launch? It was bad.

What are the Origins bugs though? I have it and the SP and am now afraid to play it :p The pristine record the Arkham series holds with me must remain that way!

Yeah, but Ghosts in the first in this long lineage to have actually been a fuck up. As far as I am aware though the only launch problem Ghosts had was the drop in frame rates which still persists.

It's funny...I've played some of Origins but I haven't bothered to finish it yet and not so much because of any bugs but more just because it didn't quite hold my attention for very long (with the first two though I could just not stop playing). I think I'll have to try again soon.

I think that's always a negative thing for me...I'm just against buying DLC of any kind. So now a game comes along that I really want to play (Arkham Origins in this case) and I buy it but just the standard version because I want to play it now (yet I should have really waited it out) and then I kinda feel screwed over a little because this extra DLC stuff comes along that I'll most likely never play (how much did I miss out on in the previous Arkham games?).
