Hawken - Official Thread.

Patch was released to fix match making. Finding a game it is much quicker now just have to work on the Balances, lvl 12 vs a lvl 1 can be a nightmare.
 
I tried the game 2 days ago and couldn't get any games in the match making...
Would be nice if you could manually choose the nearest server as well.
I'll check again if there is another patch.
 
Not a bad game at all. Played about 25 minutes this morning. Fun as hell once you get the hang of it.
 
Downloaded the client, tried playing the game but no dice. I can't seem to find any servers in matchmaking.
 
Sorry for the thread necro guys but did anyone else get the email from HAWKEN giving them they're very own unique steam key?

With our next patch currently scheduled to release on February 11th, HAWKEN will begin a transition to Steam as a platform for distribution and content sales. It's important to note that a Steam account will be required to continue playing HAWKEN!


Since you are an existing pilot, you can start playing early by redeeming your Steam Key below. This code will give you immediate access to the Steam version of the game. If you have HAWKEN currently installed on your computer, we recommend uninstalling it first before installing the new version provided by the Steam client.

ok so apparently they are still sending them out and you have to wait till end of day February 11th according to the west coast of the US, not anywhere else. If you don't get it by 11:59pm PST, then send a support ticket.
 
Played the crap out of this game way back when, bloody awesome!!
If it stays f2p its def worth playing for anyone that is even slightly interested in mech shooters.
