The Myths Of Graphics Card Performance

Tom's Hardware has been helpful to me in the past.

Also prefer Intel & Nvidia:D

Nothing wrong with preferring one brand over another, its your choice after all, but when a site that reviews hardware does it, how can you ever trust anything they write?

Interesting article, did any of you do the Human Benchmark? Visual Test
I got a 301 average.

Maybe they should have a section telling people the CPU and GPU the writer uses, so people can sort of see which direction they may be biased towards. Obviously it's hard to be completely unbiased, but some articles there do go too far and just seem to bash AMD.

It runs deeper than that though, I mean mods and staff deleting user posts ect...I've been a member there for a long time, So I know the ins and out.

After playing some counter strike my average dropped by 30ms :D

Yip the more you play/try the better it'll get until you eventually hit your wall.

Well that is pretty bad. I guess the best thing is to always have multiple sources, so you get a bigger picture view of a product or a review or whatever it is you're looking at.

Yeah, I just do it myself, If I want to test stuff, I buy it or borrow it and test it.

That's the way to do it :D Wish there was some sort of shop or showroom you could go to, select the components you wanted and test them out before having to buy them.

I got 200 ms. Twitch shots ftw :p

And indeed this is a very interesting article. Most things I knew but now there I know the reasons behind such knowledge
